Combining innovation and business ideas to solve existing social problems

Program
Speeches and Panel Discussion
We would be extending our invitation to pioneers of social innovation to share their thoughts and experience on social entrepreneurship and non-profit sector in China. Following the speeches, the speakers will be invited to share their views in a panel discussion on the future developments in social innovation.
Workshop
In addition to the speeches and panel discussion, a mini-workshop will be conducted in the afternoon for students to have a deeper discussion and interaction with social entrepreneurs on social innovation.
Under the guidance of guest facilitators, the students will engage in a brainstorming session, and come up with creative and sustainable proposals for one to two specific existing social problems. It is hoped that the students can have a better understanding and appreciation of applying business solutions to overcome social problems through the interaction with the facilitators who are also pioneers of social innovation.
