10th SHEN Graduation dinner
After a fruitful year of internship and living in a foreign country, members of the 11th SHEN are about to reach the end of their journey here in Shanghai.
To celebrate the completion of their one year programme here, a graduation dinner was put up for them at Shen’s Chinese Gourmet Restaurant located at West Nanjing Road.
We’re very pleased and honoured to have Professor Tan Chorh Chuan, President of NUS to grace the night’s event. Professor Tan has just taken over at the helm earlier this year and is very proud of what our students have achieved over their short stint here. In addition to that, close to 200 guests from various distinguished companies, staff members from NUS and Fudan University and NUS Alumni.
The programmes lined up for the night were thoughtfully planned out by members of 11th SHEN. There were 2 performances put up by members of 11th SHEN. First, we had our Erhu Master, Chee Yong who played 2 marvellous pieces for us. It was followed by a lovely duet by our very own How Yuin and Kaiwei. Next up, we have a sharing session by Hao Jie, President of 10th SHEN on his journey in Shanghai. Last but not least, we had a tear jerking video that was created by Jenny and Siwei dedicated to the members of 10th SHEN. That’s not all, 11th SHEN had a token of appreciation, made from the hard work of Bing Kiat, for everyone from 10th SHEN.
It was a fun and exciting night and almost everyone, especially the graduating class of 10th SHEN, who truly enjoyed themselves!
The dinner wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and efforts from everyone of 11th SHEN who put in a lot of time to plan and prepare for this.
We wish 10th SHEN good luck in their future endeavours and do stay in touch!
